5th June 2009 Due to health problem the presidency had to change hands with vice president Albert Strohmayer stepping in for the remainder of the year. 17th Nov 2008 At this meeting the current board were returned un opposed to continue the revival of the club to financial stabilty. Much work was done during the 2008 season to return the club finances to profitability. 12th Nov 2007 Annual General Meeting, Board of Management elections were conducted resulting in the return of past president Noel Clarke for another term. 6th Nov 2006 Yet another year has passed by. The 2006 AGM elected Albert Strohmayer to his second term as president of this great old club. Albert has a new secretary this year, he said it;s difficult to replace Toni our secretary for the past 5 years but he feels very confident with Katrina as secretary after she spent the past year as assistant to Toni. 15th Nov 2005 On Monday 14th November 2005 the Kookas club saw a change of leadership with Dave Grimsey being elected president however Dave withdrew shortly afterwards and Vice President Albert Strohmayer had his first year as President 16th Nov 2004 Monday the 15th November saw the current president Noel Clarke return for a fourth term of office. 2002 saw the start of a rebuilding program set down to revive the club. The players numbers were down to just 42. We have grown each year to have 12 teams in the 2004 competition. We envisage with the advent of an "All Girl" competition we will register 14 teams this year. Our next capital improvement is to replace our current ground lights to make our park suitable for night time games. The cost of this up grade we have been told is $80,000 so it is going to be a busy time for us though with the added help of our members who have already accepted the challenge we will be going for it. 15th Nov 2003 The AGM Board of Management elections on the 10th November saw the current president Noel Clarke return for a third term of office. 12th Nov 2002 N.C was re elected for another 12 months term as Club President. 12th Nov 2001 Noel Clarke was elected President at the AGM taking over from Graham Gillard who has the honour of serving a record 9 years, a record that will surely stand for a very long, long time. |
