5th June 2009 Due to health problems the presidency changed hands and Albert stepped in as president for the remainder of the year. 17th Nov 2008 At this meeting the current board were returned un opposed to continue the revival of the club to financial stabilty. Much work was done during the 2008 season to return the club finances to profitability. 12th November 2007 It's great to have Albert Strohmayer as our Vice President after he stepped down from the president's position. Albert's experience will help greatly in our efforts to return the Kookas to health. 6th Mar 2006 The new vice president appointed for the 2007 season is Valerie Uilou we wish Valerie the very best for her season as VP. 16th Nov 2005 Monday 14th November 2005 Club elections saw the return of Albert Strohmayer as vice president for the 2006 season. Due to Albert being elevated to President a new VP was appointed for 2006 Peter Rowlingson. 16th Nov 2004 Albert Strohmayer was elected Club Vice President at the 2004 AGM held Monday 15th November. Albert has been the club treasurer for the past two years and has sought a releif from that position. For the past seven years Albert has been sponsoring a team and stood for board and was elected in 2002. He is known around the club as our Mr Fixit as well as Alberto the supa chef, he is renown for his ability to work and can turn his hand to all kinds of jobs. 15th Nov 2003 Andy Luc, Club Vice President was returned for a further term at the AGM on November 10th 2003. Andy is also coach of the 2003 premiership winning under 11's team and will continue as coach of the team as the u12's in 2004. 12th Nov 2002 Andy was re elected Senior Vice President again last nigh 11th November at our AGM. It is a very good feeling to have former junior players in our club who are willing to devote so much time to the kids of today. Andy has been a coach with the club for the past several years. After playing as a junior with our club Andy went on to play Junior Reps, Jersey Flegg, Presidents Cup & Grade and is now giving back some of the enjoyment he got from rugby league. Posted 13/8/02 After the resignation of Vice President Stella the vacant position was filled at a general meeting in Monday 12th August with the election of Andy Luc. Posted 12/11/01 Stella Stankovic was elected to the Board of Management as Snr Vice President for 2002. Stella is also team manager for the under 9's and is looking forward to a successful year at the Kookas.
The Club Senior Vice President Judy Armstrong, elected at the Club Annual General Meeting
this year, as with our Assistant Treasurer are the first woman to be elected
to the Club Board of Management. Judy is a very long serving member of the former Ladies
Auxiliary and is a life member of the Auxiliary. |
