Preparations for the 2001 season have already started with the selection of both the Harold Matthews
and SB Ball squads. Fitness testing on the 12th October is the start, with training to commencing on November 6th for Matthews & 7th for Ball players. There will be a break for the Christmas season from December 15th with a return to training 8th & 9th January 2001. Harold Matthews players will train Tuesdays & Thursdays whilst SG Ball will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The following dates have been set aside for trials, the first on Saturday 27th January then, Saturday 3rd February, followed by 10th & 17th February. The 2001 competition will be a 6 round series followed by 3 weeks for Semi Final, Final and Grand Final. Starting with round 1 on Saturday 3rd March, with the Grand Final Saturday 28th April 2001. As information becomes available about games, teams, times, dates and venues it will be added here immediately, so don't forget to come back and take a look. |
